Dr. Laurie Greisch is the founder and owner of Healing Minds Psychiatry & Mental Wellness. She is dual board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, bringing a unique perspective that recognises the strong connection between physical and mental health.
Her approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and individualised, with treatment plans designed around each patient’s unique needs, goals, and values.
Dr. Greisch has extensive experience treating adolescents and adults across the continuum of psychiatric care, including inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and partial hospitalisation programs (PHP).
Her clinical background also includes primary care, emergency medicine, and pain management, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle factors that often influence mental health. This diverse experience allows her to develop thoughtful, well-rounded treatment plans that address the whole person rather than symptoms alone.
When Dr. Greisch founded Healing Minds Psychiatry & Mental Wellness, she envisioned a different kind of psychiatric practice—one where patients feel genuinely heard, respected, and never rushed.
She believes meaningful healing begins with listening and that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important components of successful treatment. Every aspect of the practice has been intentionally designed to reflect this philosophy, from longer appointment times and individualised care to building a team that shares her commitment to compassion, responsiveness, and exceptional patient service.
Dr. Greisch believes patients deserve honest conversations, shared decision-making, and treatment plans grounded in the latest evidence rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
She works collaboratively with each patient to explore medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle modifications, and coordination with therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists when appropriate. Her goal is not simply symptom reduction, but helping patients build healthier, more fulfilling lives with confidence and hope for the future.
Above all, Dr. Greisch is committed to creating an environment where every patient feels welcomed, supported, validated, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
She believes that healing begins when people feel truly heard, and that belief continues to guide every decision she makes as both a clinician and the owner of Healing Minds Psychiatry & Mental Wellness.
” I believe that it is important to treat my patients the way that I would want my family treated, so kindness and compassion are always guaranteed when you are under my care. “
“I provide holistic care and have extensive knowledge in pharmacology and diagnosis and management of chronic mental disorders.“
